Security camera - no video to monitor?
I have a TOA C-CV24-2 mini dome camera. Powers the camera, but I get no video. This is how I set it up. 1. The House has a BNC output. I have a BNC (COAX running on) into the camera, and the other end of the cable ends COAX regular as those obtained from the cable company to connect from the cable box to the cable / antenna connector on a TV. 2. I see no image on TV actually see a picture, but it took me three days to realize that there was almost no BC image is visible, as it not working:. My question is if this camera requires DVR to work, or does anyone have any suggestions on how cheap I can do this job. The plan is to connect the camera to a COAX splitter to view the image, 2 TV place. Hello, you go directly to a connector F (as wire) on the back TV will not work the impedance is a mistake. You need an RCA (red pins, white yellow) to connect directly to a TV. You can get an adapter in the Most electronics places. Therefore, it can work for you to get a converter / RCA adapter and then set the TV input and you will see image splitter to and use of television in the extreme to go to two places. You can also get a BNC to RCA and change the F connector (plug) to BNC at both ends of cable. Long distance cables, as more than 100 feet may require reinforcements to get the signal to move forward. Or you can get what is called the RF modulator this will change the signal from the camera to allow direct connection to a TV F connector. This type of unit is used in many suitable buildings so each resident can view the camera from the front door. A modulator typically uses a vacuum or additional cable channel.
