Odd Cockatiel feather growth. It appears food pellets or spray. Deleted / returned.?
I have a 20 year old Cockatiel. I recently realized a / tanish brown things on the edge of their feathers. I did it for the first time I realized, but returned. I cut the feathers that were affected, but I concerned that it will reoccur. When I first thought it had dropped its wings in the food pellets and stuck to it. Now I do not think that's the case. I also noticed a lump in one of its wings that the skin is covered, think it might be a tumor or growth in any other way, so he left it alone. They have difficulty trusting veterinarians not many birds seem qualified, every time I've gone I've lost a bird. Is there a site you can research that will show images of nymphs affected by mites for me to see if that is what this might be? Any suggestions?
